UN Official: If You’re Not Trying To Stop Global Warming You’re A Criminal

And so it begins…

VALENCIA, Spain – The U.N.’s top climate official warned policymakers and scientists trying to hammer out a landmark report on climate change that ignoring the urgency of global warming would be “criminally irresponsible.”
Yvo de Boer’s comments came at the opening of a weeklong conference that will complete a concise guide on the state of global warming and what can be done to stop the Earth from overheating. It is the fourth and last report issued this year by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, co-winner of this year’s Nobel Peace prize.

Got that? If you don’t buy into the war on climate change, if you don’t line up to follow each and every life-controlling regulation Al Gore’s legions dream up from what kind of car you can drive to what size of house you can live in, you’re a criminal.
Sure it’s just a bit of hyperbole, but this is how totalitarianism gets started. They find a common enemy (for Hitler it was the Jews, for communists it’s always been the capitalists or the rich) and then the recruit everyone into the struggle against that enemy. And then they case those who don’t want to struggle as traitors or…criminals.
It’s dangerous stuff, this sort of rhetoric, but the global warming zealots are charging forward with it full speed. All based on theories about anthropomorphic global warming that are anything but settled.

My apologies, Sir. My remarks were meant as a caustic slam of those idiots who actually see the UN as a viable, worthwhile, and successful endeavor. I had no intention of disparaging anyone with a real education by lumping them with the secular-progressive, UN supporting, we-are-the-world, leftwing children.

It is beyond comprehension that anyone with a high school diploma would pay any sort of attention to the so-called United Nations.

I think that one can get a high school diploma (even college diplomas) from diploma mills without attending classes or doing any serious work. That could explain the idiocy of supporting UN resolutions.

And exactly what has the UN done to fight Global Climate Variance? Oh, thats right, they are currently flying several thousand staff members to a tropical resort for a month long “working conference” on genocide and environment and human trafficking. THAT ought to stop the environment from changing.
