Um, Did You Know There Are Widespread Riots In Iran?

It seems only Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit has been reporting the stories of ongoing riots and demonstrations in Iran. He has some great posts:

This Time Protesters Riot in Iran Over a Cockroach Cartoon!
Iranian University Students Protest Against the Mullacracy
Tehran Universities Erupt in Violence Overnight!
Ethnic Rage Swells in Iran, Revolts Break Out, Deaths Reported
Iran: U.S. Will Fail to Provoke Ethnic Strife... Oh, Really?!!
Regime Commandos & Hezbollah Thugs Pound Iranian Protesters

There does indeed seem to be a media blackout on these very serious threats to the mullahs' power in Iran - I regularly scour Google News and Reuters and other news agencies, and have yet to find a single story about this. Not saying they aren't there, it just seems that this is not getting nearly the prominence it deserves.

McCrackpot,

They’re keeping things quiet here as well.

And putting police and undercover agents in protests, taking photos.

Bad coverage of protests.

Putting out false stories to the media.

Playing with voting machines.

Arresting the mothers of war casualties.

Keeping track of every phone call we’ve made.

Just little things liket that.

The MSM can’t admit that the President is right.  I love to watch the lefties’ heads explode!

I think the riots in Afghanistan are more pressing.  Because, you know, we already have a war there.

As far as the Iran riots go, the New York Times covered it today.  PS: the cartoon belittled a minority - the Azeris - who rioted in response.  This wasn’t targeted towards Ahmadinejad.

But hey!  Maybe we can use the cause of Azeri freedom as an excuse to bomb the hell out of yet another country and get into yet another quagmire, eh?

Yes, Iran with nuclear weapons isn’t any sort of a threat.  When their President says he wants to wipe Israel off the map, he is just kidding.  Wake up and smell the jihad, fool!

diane - Yikes! Scary world you inhabit.

Ryan the wide-eyed wonder says, Maybe we can use the cause of Azeri freedom as an excuse to bomb the hell out of yet another country and get into yet another quagmire, eh?

Sure. What is the first country we “bombed the hell out of” and where is “another quagmire”? Eh?

You’re the one running for a Democrat office, right? Hahaha…

Well, can we please say ‘shock and awed’ them instead of bombed the h out of them then, mommy?

My world is only scary when you people having any input in it at all.  So, yeah..right now it’s pretty darn scary.

Israel won’t abide by U.N. resolution to inspect their nuclear facilities and yet Iran is a threat without any bombs.  Israel is erratic and known to attack their neighbors and has the bombs.

If we “bombed the hell out of the country”, it would no longer be liveable.

What’s with the “mommy” part?

Your world is pretty small and petty, but I’m glad I scare you. Hah. Seems funny for some reason. Did I ever tell you that I am an Ohio voter? Ohh!!...scary! Hah.

Lik, as a loyal American I must say that we all owe you sensible Ohio voters a debt of gratitude.

And a beer. You can collect if you ever come to Chicago.

It isn’t liveable.  If you think it is, why not go there and see how you like it?  Or just do some reading.

The singular ‘you’ doesn’t scare me one little bit.  It’s the plural idiot ‘you’ who scare the living daylights out of we normal Americans.

Likwidshoe,

Just to keep you better informed, something of a consensus developed in your recent absence.  At present you and Veritas are the only ones “feeding the troll.” The rest of us are in various stages of withdrawal.

And as with giving up smoking, it’s really amazing how quickly your lungs clear out.

See how BatOne just has to bring me up.

Yes, I’m ‘the troll’.

He can’t stay away and last night Carrick all but made overtures to me.

It’s the effect I have on people.  They find me irresistible.

That’s good to know. I ignore the vast majority of the troll’s writings,..only to engage here and there when the mood strikes me. What can I say? I occasionally enjoy responding to the hypocritical and condescending reality-challenged members out there. I “scare the living daylights” out of them. That in and of itself is a small kick.

Oh, you’re scary, lik.  I mean, that big, mean, tough cut and paste every sentence style of yours just has me trembling every time I read it.
