Twenty Years Ago This Week
NASA “scientist” James Hanson gave a staged testimony warning Congress of the consequences of global warming. The Democrats staged the thing quite well up to disabling the air conditioning so that the video was more of a call to action.
This Hanson is a big mover and shaker in the Global Warming Scam. He’s a prime adviser to Algore. He’s claimed that the White House has censored him (I wish). And just lately he said that Congress should pass a law to put oil company executives in jail.
I’ve maintained for quite some time that science isn’t about consensus but about proof. When these “scientists’” predictions start coming true then we’ll know that global warming is for real.
However Mr. Hanson made some predictions 20 years ago. How did they turn out.
Unless you throw in a volcano (there hasn’t been a decent one in the last decade), none of Hansen’s valid 1988 models predict what’s actually happened. He simply predicted too much warming, especially for the last ten years. Why should we believe what he forecasts for the rest of the 21st century?
Hansen’s 1988 predictions were flatly wrong about the extent of global warming. Yet on the 20th anniversary of his original testimony, Hansen said that people “should be tried for high crimes against humanity and nature” for spreading doubts about the promised global warming holocaust. He named names, too: the CEOs of ExxonMobil and Peabody Energy.
This global warming scam belongs on the ash heap of history along with it’s sister ideologies.
