Trumps Big Announcement: A $5 Million Charitable Contribution In Exchange For Obama’s College/Passport Records
Trump is an idiot, but perhaps we are all bigger idiots to continue falling prey to his schtick.
After promising a major revelation in the presidential campaign his big announcement is…a demand for Obama’s records that have already been demanded.
Should Obama release his college/passport records? Maybe, but who cares at this point? Obama has been reticent about his birth certificate and his college records because, frankly, the distractions work great for him. He’s got a terrible economic record on the home front and a burgeoning Benghazi scandal in the foreign policy area, so of course he’d rather be talking about his college records and his birth certificate.
Trump and his ego trip are a distraction, and this isn’t helpful to the cause of beating Barack Obama. Republicans need to stay focused on Obama’s record. That’s what will resonate most with voters.
