Truly Sad: Mugabe’s Thugs Succeed In Driving His Opponent Out Of The Election

Any chance Zimbabwe had of recovering from Mugabe’s disastrous policies, policies that have basically destoyed a prosperous nation, have just vanished:

HARARE (Reuters) – Zimbabwean opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai was preparing to announce he was pulling out of a run-off presidential election, a source in his party said on Sunday, after President Robert Mugabe’s supporters attacked his rally.
The source in the opposition Movement for Democratic Change said Tsvangirai would cite violence and strong-arm tactics by Mugabe’s pro-security forces and militia for his decision to withdraw from the June 27 vote.
“A decision has been taken that it is not worth our while to go into the election because of the violence and because (the ruling) ZANU-PF has decided on the outcome already,” the MDC source said on condition of anonymity.

It’s useless to ask where the United Nations is, or why other African nations just shrug their shoulders and walk away as Mugabe drives his country into the ground. You really can’t blame Tsvangirai for bailing when things like this happen:

The MDC earlier said that youth militia loyal to Mugabe attacked an MDC rally in Harare, beating journalists and forcing election observers to flee.
“Thousands of ZANU-PF youth militia, armed with iron bars, sticks and other weapons, have attacked journalists and forced election observer teams to flee from the venue of the MDC scheduled rally. Police are firing tear gas,” the MDC said in a statement.

Mugabe’s opponents wives have been beaten and burned alive by some of those “youth militias” (translated that means semi-organized groups of young consienceless killers whose loyalty is paid for by Mugabe in food, money, and the spoils of whatever they can take from the citizens they terrorize). How can anyone blame them for getting out before they meet the same fate?
Sad. Sad indeed.

I’d rather load them on C141s, ship them to Zimbabwe, and watch them struggle with the sarcasm of starvation, rape and torture. You know? Like their hero Mugabe inflicts on the people of Zimbabwe every single day. Or, perhaps struggling with the sarcasm of digging graves, day in and day out, until they die from starvation and exhaustion, to bury the dead that their fucked up ideology creates every single day. All over the world.

I got to shut the news off for awhile. Watching the death and destruction wrought by these leftarded fuck’s ideology is pissing me off.

Back when it was Ian Smith’s Rhodesia, the standard of living was much higher and rate of dying was a heck of a lot lower. In many ways it was a better, more prosperous country all around.

But the big sin was that it had its form of Apartheid and so Teddy Kennedy and Jesse Jackson did their thing to cut it loose from US / Western support when it was under siege by Soviet-backed communist terrorist movements, mainly ZANU and ZAPU, two movements under Robert Mugabe and Joshua Nkomo.

Rhodesia fell to communist rule, not because any failure of the superb RLI (Rhodesian Light Infantry) but due primarily to the efforts of Democrats.

It has descended into Hell on Earth since that time. Even though the bloodshed and privation have increased astronomically, it stays off the Leftist MSM radar because it is Communist blacks doing the killing, raping and beating of European-Africans and other Bantu (black Africans)

The DNC/MSM don’t care. Their job is done.

They have moved on to other projects, like turning Afghanistan and Iraq over to terrorists.

Like they did for Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Nicaragua, Iran, and so on, and so on…

    watashiwa,

Obviously you haven’t been paying attention. We’re not going to invade Zimbabwe and overthrow Mugabe. There’s no oil there for us to steal!

If the UN was worth anything, thugs like Mugabe would not be allowed to rein and ruin. Of course, if they took out one petty dictator they would have to eliminate others as well, many that sit on the laughable UN Human Rights commission.

That we and the rest of the world sits helplessly by and do nothing to eliminate this atrocity is pathetic. If it wasn’t for the anti-war loonies in our country we might take some action to eliminate Mugabe like we have done with Saddam. A battalian of Msrines with air support would probably easily do it.

I propose that in the interest of protecting democracy around the world, the United States invade Zimbabwe and overthrow Mugabe.

    That was sarcasm, w.
Only a fool wouldn’t see that! Heh.

    My point, exactly!

“For the benefit of landless black peasants!”

    They’re starving.

“Liberals” the world over will not recognize that their ideology is failing yet again.

Actually Zimbabwe has substantial oil and gas reserves, not to mention a great deal of mineral wealth. Not to mention some of the most fertile farmland in the region.

These are reasons their neighbors are less than enthusiastic for the idea of placing a stable government there. Keep them down and starving, and they are not an economic or political threat. Mugabe does not threaten his neighbors, he takes out his sadistic pleasures on his own people.

    2H9,

You know that. And I know that. But it is fun to watch those on the other side of the aisle struggle with sarcasm when its directed at them.
