    Let’s see. The film promotes:
    –family-owned small business;
    –the nuclear family;
    –immigrants assimilating into the community;
    –the heroism of the military;
    –personal responsibility;
    –active and personal faith.

    Not quite socialism or liberalism, no.

    This is one of my favorite films ever. Thanks for sharing, Whistler.

    Sat and watched the whole thing, thanks Whistler.

    This is my sister’s favorite movie too. She literally has the whole movie memorized. You can mention a scene to her, and she can describe it and start right in with the dialogue, word for word.
