Good stuff.

Is it just me, or has the most refreshing part of this entire crappy campaign season been the injection into the political arena of average, level-headed citizens like Tito and Joe the Plumber? I know they’ll get overused, and it’ll become gimmicky, but hearing these guys talk instead of the usual blowhard talking heads has been…nice.

I know it can be different to some degree because of race, but you could then say the way Palin gets portrayed is sexist, McCain’s treatment, ageist. I see what you are saying but I think you go down a slippery slope if you try to emphasize every incidence. I think sometimes the best thing people can do is develop a thicker skin.

I hope Alan Colmes’s ratings on “The Flag” are abysmal, and he is replaced with something else. I tune in for a minute or two now and then, and all I hear is him pushing abortion, or else repeating (or letting his callers repeat) anti-Republican smears that I’ve already heard debunked earlier in the day. He is intellectually dishonest, uninformative, and anti-life.

Damn, Tito, gets it, but Woof and Hanny who are supposedly so intelligent don’t. Tito is what is right about immigration. As far as it being 3rd grade comprehensible, they had to dumb it down so that all the Obama supporters wouldn’t be left out.
