Things Are Looking Up

Via the Smarter Cop:

All over the news today we've heard reports that consumer spending and business spending is up, way up. Our Gross Domestic Product 7.2 percent, an amazing amount and a rate not seen in nearly two decades. While economy seems to be up and down quaterly, this burst of growth is definately good news.

The credit for this should go to our President as economists are crediting tax cuts, child tax credits and government spendings among the causes for this growth spurt. Isn't that exactly what he told us would happen? As for the last time we had a growth spurt like this, nearly two decades ago, guess who was in office? That's right, Ronald Reagan. Maybe Republican's know what they're doing after all...

To make the day even a little more brighter for our current President, a member of Saddam Hussein's regime has been linked to al-Qaeda.

Perhaps a little more trust, and a little less cynicism, is in order from the liberal left.
