The War On Enjoying Life

Nick Schweitzer:

We've already demonized drinking, smoking, and drugs. Gambling is being outlawed, unless you're on an Indian reservation. We're starting to run out of things to demonize. And as the old saying goes... you're never allowed to win a culture war. So it's only natural that food would be the next target.

Ain't that the truth.

Read the whole thing.

I disagree.  North Carolina just managed to get the Lottery, through no small amount of extra-constitutional shenanigans (the legislature couldn’t vote FOR it, but when the Guvna wrapped it into the budget bill, they couldn’t quite vote AGAINST it either).  Meanwhile, gambling casino’s which began on Indian Reservations and Boats have moved further and further onshore with each passing year.

What exactly was the purpose of all those required life preservers, that were on the Casino “boats” that washed up on the Mississippi beaches during Katrina?  To save the looters from drowning?

Whatever happened to the 12-mile limit?  It’s been reduced to 2 inches of draft, that’s what…

Yep, Marty. Here in PA we are going to have slot machines, owned by the state, operated by their tame mobsters. All to”help” the children.

And now that we have made progress on her self-hate syndrome, I will bid you all good night. And leave Dhimi diane to sulk. Nighty night.

Oh, she doesn’t sulk, little Idiot Savant.

She’s a happy Dhimi.

See, admitting what you are is liberating. Now take the razor, grasped firmly, and go up and down the tracks not across the road.
