The Story Of Our Savior Obama

From the London Times:

And it came to pass, in the eighth year of the reign of the evil Bush the Younger (The Ignorant), when the whole land from the Arabian desert to the shores of the Great Lakes had been laid barren, that a Child appeared in the wilderness.
The Child was blessed in looks and intellect. Scion of a simple family, offspring of a miraculous union, grandson of a typical white person and an African peasant. And yea, as he grew, the Child walked in the path of righteousness, with only the occasional detour into the odd weed and a little blow.
When he was twelve years old, they found him in the temple in the City of Chicago, arguing the finer points of community organisation with the Prophet Jeremiah and the Elders. And the Elders were astonished at what they heard and said among themselves: “Verily, who is this Child that he opens our hearts and minds to the audacity of hope?”

This would have been a whole lot funnier if I could tell if this guy was being serious or not.
Given the way most of the fawning press lets their adoration of Obama run wild it’s sort of hard to tell.

Gerard Baker has always been pretty good, an English guy who likes America and does a good job of reporting, but I’ve never seen such an extended satire from him before. Wow. He must be really irritated.

Worst part of it all? O’Bama might read this, nod his head approvingly, and say, “Yes, they have captured my very essence”!

    Great satire.

Still, how is it he left is behaving like a bunch of religious fanatics? Some level of excitement over a viable democrat candidate is understandable, but the religious fervor is glaringly hypocritical.

If Jacque Denise is an American citizen, I’ll eat my hat. Well… I’m not wearing a hat so I’ll have to think of something else.

Unless perhaps by “our country” he meant Iraq?
