The Obama Cult: Liberal Parents Make Their Children Sing Songs About Barack

Ugh…

Reminds me of this:

This sort of cult worship has no place in American politics.  We don’t worship our political leaders here, or at least we shouldn’t, be are a country that is to be ruled by the consent of the governed.  Meaning that our political leaders are supposed to be no more than average citizens elevated to positions of power so that they can execute what we want.

Worshiping political leaders smacks of monarchism.  Smacks of totalitarianism, and it makes me uncomfortable.  We fought a revolution over this sort of nonsense.

I don’t really like it when Republicans reminisce about Ronald Reagan as if he were some sainted deity instead of flawed (but overall excellent) leader, and I don’t like it when I see children singing hymns about Barack Obama either.  Our political leaders are arrogant enough.  We don’t need to feed their egos.

I never noticed how much Stalin looks like Saddam.  Creepy!

I think I’m going to puke!! Shades of Nazi (National Socialism) Germany youth corps.  Yeah, Soviets too.

Brain washing children is one of the liberals most effect ploys.  It’s not only parents but school teachers at every level who are promoting socialism/communism under the progressive label.

You don’t have to be a moron to be a liberal Democrat but it sure helps.

Hardly. Lots of our founders were scientists, statesmen, military men, et cetera. Not your average citizens.

I agree Rob. The singing is creepy.

I think it is scary.  Scary that they think this work is so great that they want to post it for all to see.

We don’t worship our political leaders..

I didn’t see or hear any worshiping.  I saw and heard people singing about imagining hope.

They did sing that Obama’s going to change it and lead em.  They sang that “we” are going to change it.

It was a bit over the top in my opinion, but it wasn’t worship.

THIS IS PROPAGANDA...FOR PALIN!!!

I could actually see them signing praises if there was actually something there other than an empty suit and a teleprompter.

And using kids like this is almost as bad as taking them to abortion protests.

dannyboy on September 30, 2008 at 08:43 pm

At least at those abortion protests the kids come away with an appreciation for the fact that they are alive!

THERE ARE SOME SICK PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD AND THE PARENTS OF THESE KIDS ARE JUST AWFUL.  STOP THE CHRISTMAS SONGS AND BRING IN THE OBAMA. DOESN’T MAKE SENSE!  BRAINWASHING CHILDREN IN THE CLASSROOM IS WRONG.  EVEN IF THERE WAS A EQUAL BALANCE OF A MCCAIN SONG IT WOULD STILL BE WRONG TO PULL THESE YOUNG KIDS INTO THE ADULT WORLD OF POLITICS.  MY BOYS WERE RAISED TO MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS AND NOT FOLLOW EVERYTHING I SUPPORT OR BELIEVE IN.  THESE KIDS DO NOT HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT O-DUMB-A REALLY WANTS TO DO TO CHANGE OUR COUNTRY.  WHAT KIND OF EFFECT IT WILL HAVE ON THEIR FUTURE.  HE WILL INCREASE TAXES EVEN ON PEOPLE MAKING $30,000.  HE HAS SAID THAT HE WANTS TO ADD SPANISH AS AN AMERICAN LANGUAGE (BULL-CRAP)!  HE WANTS ILLEGAL ALIENS TO RECEIVE SOCIAL SECURITY EVEN THOUGH MANY ARE CONCERNED WHETHER THERE WILL BE SOCIAL SECURITY IN THE FUTURE.  ODUMBA COULD CARE LESS.  HE PLANS TO GIVE 2 BILLION DOLLARS TO THE CHARITY OF HIS CHOICE.........TO FIGHT MALARIA IN AFRICA AND IN HIS WORDS “THE LAND OF MY FATHER”.  I PREFER TO DONATE TO OTHER CHARITIES.  HIS CONNECTIONS TO “ACORN,” AND TO REV. WRIGHT, AND SO MANY OTHER DISHONORABLE PEOPLE.  CHANGE!  CHANGE WE MAY ALL REGRET!  PEOPLE THINK IT IS BAD NOW..........JUST WAIT.  IT CAN GET WORSE!

That is one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. They are rehearsing to sing for the President of the United States.

God Bless them.

Peace!

All brilliant men, but none no more or less important than the rest of us.

I mean, knowing what we know of John Adams or Thomas Jefferson, do we really think either man would be comfortable with children singing hymns about them?

Exactly.  Well said.

This one of the characteristics I appreciate in others, an ability to respect the value and worth of each and every individual.
