The Obama Coronation Continues
With Obama having won some delegates among Democrats abroad the media is trumpeting it has his “11th consecutive” primary win. And while that makes his lead over Hillary sound insurmountable, the simple truth is that he’s still just 69 delegates ahead of Hillary.
And there are still 1,400+ delegates up for grabs.
As strange as it may sound, as a conservative I’m actually pulling for Hillary in all this. Not so much because I prefer Hillary’s policies but because Obama is, without a doubt, the most liberal politician in the US Senate.
Obama’s campaigning as though he’s some sort of middle-of-the-road candidate who is going to unite Americans across the nation. The reality is that he isn’t likely to unite anyone while he’s sitting to the left of Ted Kennedy. Tags: Domestic Issues, Politics
