The New York Times Didn’t Run “Sleazy” Edwards Story, But Did Run “Sleazy” McCain Story
The Times of London takes a shot at the New York Times:
The New York Times has not deigned to touch the story, although it recently ran thousands of words on a relationship between McCain and a female lobbyist, which appeared to be based more on innuendo than fact.
Just so we’ve got this straight: A story about an affair involving a Republican politician that is based on no evidence and a lot of innuendo gets front-page treatment from the New York Times. A story about an affair involving a Democrat media darling that has a lot of corroborating evidence doesn’t get any coverage at all.
Funny how that works.
