Earlier today, I made a half joking remark about Obama’s Jolly Green Czar Van Jones:

I wonder if Van Jones has a “Free Mumia” sticker on the back of his government provided vehicle?

Seems I didn’t have to wait long for the answer to my question! via Ed Morrissey:

After being a Communist and a 9/11 Truther, will Jones’ support for cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal even register? Maybe it will at the White House…What will be Jones’ excuse this time? He didn’t check out the fine print on the “Free Mumia” picket signs before he held one?

Supporters of Mumia Abu-Jamal, a death row inmate convicted for the 1981 shooting death of a Philadelphia police officer, said the protest was called after the Supreme Court on Monday rejected claims that Abu-Jamal, a former radio journalist and Black Panther, did not receive a fair trial.
“We knew there was another event going on, but the timing of the court decision is what dictated when the protest was held,” said Van Jones, a San Francisco civil rights lawyer who helped coordinate the protest march.

I'm just an ordinary American, a "regular Joe" with a deep concern for the future of my Family and Country. I have a wife and 3 kids and feel my job is to protect them from everything seen and unseen.
