The LA Times Didn’t Have A Problem Releasing A Recording Of A Republican

As the LA Times sits on a inconvenient-for-Obama tape of The One toasting PLO operative Khalid Rhashidi in 2003 it’s worth remembering that the Times wasn’t nearly so discerning when they published recordings of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Aren’t double standards wonderful?

    Wait, wait, I almost forgot.

Maybe if we use the old mantra, ‘it’s for the children’, then maybe the LA Times would release the tape.

Plus what is there to be afraid of, this election is in the bag. Obama could go on national television tonight and kick puppies and still win next Tuesday. Right?

Your problem is you actually seem to believe the Obama campaign controls the mass media, including the L.A. Times. In reality, it is not up to Obama whether the newspaper releases the tape. Why won’t you just believe the L.A. Times that their source asked them not to release it? (I know – it’s more fun to create (1) a conspiracy and (2) another excuse for when McCain loses).

So we are just going to ignore the whole thing with him shunning two stations that dared to ask Biden about comments Obama made?

If you noticed, I stated very clearly that Obama most likely will win. Hell, I could win too if I was running against McCain, also if I had almost every news outlet gushing over me. The fact of the matter is, there has been an incredible amount of bias in this election process. Not that there isn’t always a ton on bias every election period.

I personally can’t wait to see all this Hope and Change magic that he is bringing to Washington. As far as I understand it, with the Dems running the Congress, Senate and the Presidency we should see all the homeless move into houses made of chocolate and all the wars will come to an end and the ghetto will rise up and become the utopia that it has always had the potential to be but the mean old white man has been holding it down for so long.

I’ll leave a space here for where you talk about how I’m a crazed conspiracy head because the evidence is right in front of you. Yeah, I’m the crazy one though.

    There you go.

When Obama wins I’ll be the guy giving him kudos for running a strong primary and a well orchestrated campaign. But let me pose one more question to you.
Now that the Dems have had the control for two years and nothing has changed except for gas prices going up and the housing market falling apart, oh and they managed to get themselves a lower approval rating than the President that everyone hates (according to the media) who will you blame for all the things that go wrong after January 20th. Eventually you won’t be able to blame Bush anymore and you’ll have to take a long hard look at the socialist (yeah I said it! Call me a racist!) programs that don’t work. Who will you blame?

As for ACORN’s registrations, if Mickey Mouse shows up at a poll and is able to vote, let me know.

    Morr,

You have absolutely no idea how pollworking goes on. I have posted on another post here that my mother has been a poll moderator for 25 yrs. I have seen absentee ballots marked for the person the pollworker wanted. I have seen this at small CHURCHES where little old ladies take paper ballots that they didn’t like throw them in the trash. Without a checks and balance system then people can get by with anything. When they allowed Jennifer Brunner in Ohio to ban poll watchers then they made every vote that was cast suspect.

That has nothing to do with ACORN. I’m sure there’s voter fraud everywhere and it works both ways. I don’t think it is likely to be significant enough to effect the result of the election this year.

But thanks for adding to the list of your excuses for next Tuesday night:

    1) Liberal MSM bias
    2) ACORN

    Feel free to add.

Did a source ask them not to disclose the Schwarzenegger recording? If not, this seems less like a double standard and more like your typical whining about a biased media. If the L.A. Times is so slanted, why did they mention they had a tape at all?

Let's add this to the list of excuses you'll be spewing next week after McCain loses. I'm sure you will be unwilling to admit that, with full knowledge and understanding of the issues, the American people could possibly choose Obama over McCain. No, it must be that the media failed to inform us properly.

And, if for some reason he doesn't win?

Will you be back on this blog complaining about how the media screwed you out of the election? Will you be saying how the police with their big dogs kept away voters?

You know, I would love to see some actual footage of this going on. I mean with everything on YouTube these days I find it hard to believe that this goes on at all anymore.

I know you will be the first one to jump up and tell us all that it is happening, but what about a little something called…wait for it…proof. You know like when ACORN registers over 100% of the population to vote and they all seem to be,…wait for it…Democrats? What?!? What?!?! Wait, What?!? Yes, you heard it right, the biggest perpetrators of fraud are the Dems, especially when it comes to Dems from Chicago. Err, ahh Kennedy…

I know that as an Obama supporter, you don't need facts and the truth just gets in the way, but for the sake of entertainment, I would love to see you produce some.

What are you talking about? No and No. If McCain wins next week, I'll be surprised (given the current state-by-state polls and how far behind McCain is by almost all sources other than Bill O'Reilly), but will not be blaming the media or dogs. If McCain wins, he deserves the credit. (Are you willing to credit Obama when he wins? I doubt it.)

HECK, he will if he wins the election, there will be no anit-anything opposing views will be squashed in the communist eutopia. The fairness doctrine will be inacted.

While he doesn't control the media, they are falling all over themselves to cover this in a positive light the fact that the NOBAMA campaign has not answered any tough questions trouble me and many americans. It is shameful what has gone on.

I know who you'll blame. We're eight years into a republican presidency and you're blaming democrats for higher gas prices and the housing market.

I'm not a big fan of what you call the "socialist programs" (way to parrot those talking points — did you call them socialist before McCain/Palin started to?) either, though McCain doesn't seem any better than Obama where these are concerned. I'd love to see less spending, but neither party is offering it.

    Ayers
    Kronklin
    Dohrn
    Wright
    Palmer
    Pfliger
    Rashidi

What's really amazing is the number of people Obama knows who are every bit as extreme as David Duke.

Not blaming anyone, just pointing out the obvious.

    Up:
-Gasoline up from $2.19 to $3.35 or 53%
-Unemployment up from 4.5% to 5% or 11.1%
-National dept per ca pita was $27,677 then and now $31,551 or 14% higher.
    -Congressional pay increase.

    Down:
-Consumer confidence at multiple year lows.
-Equity value of mutual funds down $2.3 trillion.
-Home equity values down $1.2 trillion
-Congress's approval rating at all time low.

I believe that the promise from the Dems in 06' was change. Well, they did change things.

Who was it that stopped the oversight on the housing market? I believe it was Barney Frank and his gang of friends. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MGT_cSi7Rs&feature=related) Sorry, but if the blame fits, wear it.
