The Coup Continues: Far Left Anti-Constitutionalist Nominated As State Department Legal Adviser
The coup continues, folks, with Obama and crew marching steadily toward the complete over haul of the United States.
Harold Koh is a scary guy to have in position to advise our government on international law, because he thinks we should all be one world, among other things. Group hug, everybody:
Former Clinton administration official Harold Koh, who has been dean of the Yale Law School since 2004, once wrote that the U.S. was part of an “axis of disobedience” with North Korea and Saddam Hussein’s Iraq. Koh also has long held that the U.S. should accept international law when deliberating cases at home.
Instead of following our laws and our Constitution this guy thinks we should set all that aside and use the laws of what is essentially a foreign court when deciding cases here at home. Yikes!
Quick sidebar: This guy was Dean of Yale Law. One has to wonder what kind of damage he did in that position.
Anyway, he’s a charmer, all right. This is the same clown who said that sharia law should be given consideration in the United States – and submit to international courts:
And in a Stanford Law Review article published in May 2003, Koh wrote that supporters of the International Criminal Court should bring pressure to bear on U.S. opinion “with an eye toward persuading U.S. officials that the ICC actually serves U.S. interests.”
If we were ever subject to the ICC it would cripple our military and our politicians. Who would want to lead troops in battle or make foreign policy decisions if they were subject to being hauled up on charges in front of some international kangaroo court that worries as much about political correctness as it does about the actual application of law, and which would completely ignore the Constitution of the United States when trying one of its citizens?
The Obama Administration, rapidly filling up with left leaning ideological lackeys, will get out of control before this is all over, mark my words.
