The Blogger’s Bloggers

National Journal magazine's Hotline blog has started a new feature called "The Week In Blogs" and has kicked it off with a poll of top political bloggers to find out what blogs they are reading.

I was selected as one of the panelists and submitted my picks last week. You can see the results here.

A lot of my picks made it to the top, a few did not. Say Anything didn't make the list, but I hardly expected it to given the quality of the competition.

They hope to make this a monthly feature at Hotline. Not sure if I'll be invited to provide my picks again, but if so I'll be sure to link again to the results.

Only about 4 or 5 of my choices made the final cut.

"...quality of the competition" my foot!  What do Hugh Hewitt or Glenn Reynolds or Michelle Malkin or Ed Morrisey have that we don’t have here?  Other than a gazillion more readers?

Besides, we’ve got Dhiane.

Am I well-connected or what??

Good job, guys. I’ll be checking in there often. Though one thing you should address, Rob, sayanything ain’t on their blogroll. That is the second thing I check when I hit new places. Always like to see who is cross-connecting with whom.

If I don’t see Say Anything or WILLisms on a blog roll I usually won’t go back.
