The Best Quotes Of The Year
If you’d like to see just how incredibly disconnected – and sometimes downright stupid – some of the pundits on the left have been this past year go to the Media Research Center’s site and check out their “Quotes Of The Year” page.
It’s enlightening in a depressing sort of way, and it makes you wonder if some of those media notables are actually sane.
This one made the rounds of the internet after it first plopped on the page, and it’s my favorite:
“As Violence Falls in Iraq, Cemetery Workers Feel the Pinch”
— Headline over an October 16 story by McClatchy News Service reporters Jay Price and Qasim Zein.
Heh.
Anyway, they’ve got the spewings of people like Chris Matthews, Rosie O’Donnell, Al Gore, Bill Maher and many other legends-in-their-own-minds, all right there in one neat little pile.
You might consider fixing yourself a strong drink before you read it, though.
