Taxpayers Will Be Footing The Bill for Obama’s “Jobs Bus Tour”

“Is that a campaign event or a presidential event?” a reporter asked White House spokesman Jay Carney yesterday about the announcement of Obama’s midwest “jobs” bus tour.

“That is an official event,” responded Carney, which means it’s being funded by the taxpayers.

So, apparently it’s one of Obama’s official duties to tour battleground states on the taxpayer’s time to run for re-election.
