This attitude of trial-and-error is what has come of the pro-choice movement. Those in favor of abortion place the value of an unborn baby's life at zero. They care not for it. Women are already getting abortions because they simply do not want the baby, why would it be surprising that women would also get abortions when they don't want the handicaps that come with the baby?
The pro-choice movement has never been about "women's rights" or "women's health." Its about allowing people to take the easy way out. Does the child have a cleft pallet? No problem, just kill it off and try again, right? Forget that the child could have the pallet repaired. Forget that the kid could go on to become the next Einstein or cure cancer. The fact that it has a cleft pallet is inconvenient to the mother, so kill it off. Heck, maybe the mother doesn't want a child right now. No problem, just kill the perfectly healthy little baby off. Wouldn't want the little darling to be getting in the way of its mother's plans now, would we?
A life is created from the very moment a child is conceived in the mother's womb. That child has just as much of a right to live its life as you do. You do not have the "right" to end that child's life simply because its life is inconvenient to yours.
