Surprise: Obama Astoturfing For Kent Conrad Town Hall Events

Senator Kent Conrad is, right now, afraid to talk to his constituents. He’s walking out on town hall events after only taking a couple of questions. His staff is choreographing the events so that only pre-approved speakers are allowed to talk.
And now the Senators friend Obama has his campaign organization…uh…astroturfing these events for him. The email being sent out is below.
Now, to be clear, I don’t have a problem with the liberals sending out emails like this. But let’s remember that these same liberals are claiming that the tea parties and town hall protests are nothing more than tantrums scripted by conservative organizations. I maintain that most of the people attending these protests and meetings are nothing more than concerned citizens, but if conservative organizing efforts are going to be written off as inauthentic shouldn’t liberal organizing efforts be written off as the same?
