Surprise: Obama Administration Can’t Tell The Difference Between Saved Jobs And Created Jobs

Though, to be fair, that bit of ridiculous spin is so hopelessly meaningless that neither can anyone else.

White House officials announced Friday that they had counted exactly how many jobs were created or saved by recent stimulus spending: 640,329.
So how many were saved and how many created? They don’t know.
In a briefing with reporters, officials acknowledged they can’t tell the difference between jobs “saved,” and jobs “created” by the $787 billion stimulus package.
They said they also can’t tell the difference between private sector jobs and government jobs.

Hey, let’s put these idiots in charge of health care!

    The know the difference. They can’t tell the truth about the numbers they use. I guessing they will next claim to save a million jobs a year by abortion, there are a million less people on unemployment and welfare(cost savings initiative). Maybe they can count criminals on the jobs created side – they can be listed as self employed. The Dem/Libs have a very weak relationship with the truth.

    Timothy Geithner spoke about this at length and defined jobs saved on Meet The Press yesterday.

    If you spent just a moment being a normal person, reading or watching real fair and balance media, you would know this.

    So go ahead and dig up the transcripts and debate them, if you have the brain or the balls.

    They don’t want results measured, they want the power that comes with what they are doing. Only capitalism keeps score, and that is by profiting the winning solutions and bankrupting the losing ones. Obviously that has been put on hold since AIG.

    No jobs have been saved, none created by any action of the Barri Admin or Congress. The facts are clear, unemployment is rising, not leveling off or slowing or stopping. Zero growth, escalating unemployment, rapidly rising business closings, and market volatility, just watch today’s numbers, peabrain, is not “saving” America’s economy. All their actions are destroying America’s economy. Just as they have been working towards for the last 50 odd years.

    Imagine a capitalist Icon getting a walk from not paying taxes for seven years like Geithner. The socialist would want him strung up. But Timmy and Charles Rangel are praised for their work which is for the greater good.
