Suicide Bomber Hits Russia
Terrorists hit Russia. Again.
In the past week or so terrorists have attacked Russia twice, taken French hostages and have killed 12 people from Nepal. None of these countries supported the invasion of Iraq and none, with the possible exception of Russia, have done anything to support coalition forces there since.
Behold the blind-hatred that is extreme Islam. They hate those that are not like them. The only way to stop them is to either become them or defeat them. And the best way to defeat them is to bring democracy and freedom to those that would be their followers.
This is what we are in the process of doing in Iraq. Its a slow process hindered by setbacks and unforeseen events, but if we persevere we will emerge victorious in a safer world.
One thing is clear, however. Leaving Iraq will not solve this problem. Ignoring the terrorists because the attacks they perpetrate are not in our streets is only a way to sweep the problem under the rug.
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Eight people were killed and at least 20 injured by a female suicide bomber in a central Moscow car park on Tuesday evening, Russian news agencies reported.
Local television footage showed a blazing car parked between a large shopping center and the entrance to a metro station, with several bodies lying on the pavement.
Tass said a number of children were among the injured.
