Studies Show No Link Between Global Warming And Hurricanes

Al Gore talking about global warming and hurricanes:

There are scientific warnings now of another onrushing catastrophe. We were warned of an imminent attack by Al Qaeda; we didn’t respond. We were warned the levees would break in New Orleans; we didn’t respond. Now, the scientific community is warning us that the average hurricane will continue to get stronger because of global warming.

Reality: There is no link between global warming and hurricanes.
Inconvenient truth? You betcha.

    I have made $100 off each of the last 2 hurricane seasons, you know, the worst hurricane seasons in the history of the planet. Wiped out all human life along the entire Gulf Coast, don’t you know! Algore said it happened so it must have happened.

    Hurricanes follow a sinusoidal pattern and 2006 broke the pattern by having very, very few hurricanes. Democratic Underground was all over how the LACK of hurricanes was caused by global warming and hurricanes, as bad as they are, are required for a healthy ecosystem.

    Oh, and we’re all going to die and it’s bushitlers fault. (Or they use ” * ” because they’re afraid of being sent to a re-education camp.)

    No, we weren’t; the speculation was that the levees would be overtopped, not that they would break; nobody predicted that or warned of the possibility. Another convenient lie from Gore.
