Stop Hoeven

Here’s an interesting new addition to the North Dakota blogosphere.  It’s called “Two Terms Is Enough,” and the terms being referred two are Governor Hoeven’s.  That’s right, it’s an anti-John Hoeven blog seemingly dedicated to highlighting his profligacy in spending our tax dollars.  Which, frankly, is something I can be down with.

What’s even more interesting is that this blog is apparently written by a former employee in the Governor’s office.  The author has had a small bit of correspondence with fellow SAB contributor Brett Narloch, but I’ve not communicated with him yet myself (which may be because my email continues to be down).

Regardless, it will be interesting to see what information comes out on this blog.  There’s not a lot there now (except for links to several posts appearing on this website, along with links to other ND articles and blog posts), but it’s something to keep your eye on.

I bet Ed Schultz is a big fan of this blog.

I don’t know about Schultz, but I do think that Hoeven and the ND Republicans following his lead need a wake-up call.

The war against illegal plunder has been fought since the beginning of the world. But how is… legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime. Then abolish this law without delay … If such a law is not abolished immediately it will spread, multiply and develop into a system.

Whoever the blogger is or isn’t he/she claims to work in the Governor’s office?  It also seems that is a person that favors the right side of the aisle.

I also noticed the artwork was really close to some artwork I saw here.

I also noticed that Freeper (FreeRepublicans.com)is quoted many times.  I wonder if he is involved???

Aparrently Freeper is also the Executive Director of “North Dakotans For a Change”.  What is this group about?

Troy, I can assure you that neither Brett (TakingBackND) nor Dustin (aka Freep) are involved with that site.  All three of us were IM’ing and emailing one another today about it.

former employee

oh ok! I don’t know who it is either! I will let you know if I find out more!

Do you think that it is a conservative person who is upset with Hoeven’s directions (or lack there of) or a leftie poser?

Well, from looking at the posts he/she has linked here on SA and elsewhere I’m guessing it’s someone upset with Hoven’s spending policies.

Anyone who doesn’t get a government check is angered by Hoeven’s spending policies.
Why are families in the private sector paying more in ND income taxes than Federal Income taxes?

But of course. It’s the old “where’s mine, maaann?”

It’s like the definition of the difference between a whore and a slut.

A slut sleeps with everyone at the party.

A whore sleeps with everyone, but you.
