Thus putting an end to this nutty conspiracy theory. Or maybe not, given the propensity for conspiracy theorists to merely expand the scope of the conspiracy when confronted with fact.
HONOLULU — The state’s Department of Health director on Friday released a statement verifying the legitimacy of Sen. Barack Obama birth certificate.
The state has received multiple requests for a copy of Obama’s birth certificate. State law does not allow officials to release the birth certificate of a person to someone outside of the family. …
“There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama’s official birth certificate. State law (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record,” DOH Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said.
“Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures. No state official, including Governor Linda Lingle, has ever instructed that this vital record be handled in a manner different from any other vital record in the possession of the State of Hawai‘i,” Fukino said.

jj, what is in the Hawaii records office is a certificate of live birth, not a birth certificate. Two entirely different things. The point people ignoring is that Barri has his own paperwork, not the state of Hawaii, otherwise he would never have been able to register for school, get a drivers license, or any number of other things. Question is, why is he refusing produce that single piece of paper? What is on it that he is so terrified of people seeing?

Another Obama’s cover up just like the forgery BC on Obama’s and Factcheck’s website. Factcheck first came out to say that they have the original with stamp in their hands too and then a computer forensic examiner proved that it was a forgery. Governor Lingle of Hawaii sealed his records and now three days to election an official comes out to say that he/she has seen the genuine BC? Sound and smell real fishy to me. Most of all, all the MSM seem to be reporting as a gospel. Plus, I seem to recall that there is a court case on going in Hawaii regarding this matter. Court date is Nov. 18, why come out now? Who would benefit from this sudden revelation three days b4 election? If it is genuine then show it to the American people. Why say you saw it, just show it. Again, if the BC story is true why didn’t Obama showed it at Phil Berg’s case in PA OR the Appeal case, if he did he woud have stop ALL on going legal cases, about seven on the books accross the US? Instead Obama and the DNC used legal manuever by stating that Phil Berg did not have any standing on the case, same thing with the OHIO case. There is no conspiracy here, but I thought that it is very strange that Obama has haD many opportunities to show his BC and squashed all allegations regarding his citizenship, like McCain did when he showed his BC to the public to exam, but instead Obama opts to fight the suits.
