State Senator Tony Grindberg May Or May Not Be Considering Run To Replace Kent Conrad
According to the Fargo Forum Fargo-area state Senator Tony Grindberg has been emailing NDGOP District Chairs saying that he’d like to run for the US Senate in the 2012 election cycle.
But when asked about the Forum story by PlainsDaily.com, Senator Grindberg denied the existence of any sort of a potential run for Senate.
Despite rumors to the contrary, ND State Senator Tony Grindberg categorically denied having announced any intention to run for US Senate in 2012. When asked to for further comment, Sen. Grindberg said he had none and would not discuss the matter further.
Sounds like Grindberg has been floating trial balloons about a race but isn’t ready to go public just yet.
