Speaking Of Hypocrites…

So John Kerry was in an uproar earlier this year because George W. Bush wouldn't release his military records to the public. Now that the same request has been made of him, he's balking.

This isn't the first time we've seen behavior like this from Kerry. He and his wife, Teresa Heinz-Kerry, are refusing to release her tax records to the public despite Kerry's insistence of such a release from past political opponents. To be fair, Kerry only demanded that the records of his rivals be released not those of their wives, but when so much of Teresa's money is so obviously tied up in her husband's campaign I can't help but feel that they should be subject to public scrutiny as well.

So what's the deal with this? Kerry seems to have no problem with demanding full disclosure from his opponents but gets a little uncomfortable when the same is demanded of him.

This isn't what I'm looking for in a President.
