Someone Should Ask Obama If Democrat Rep. Jan Schakowsky Was Lying About Health Care Too
Earlier today I posted about Obama telling a national meeting of the American Medical Association that those saying that his plan would result in government control of the health care industry weren’t telling the truth. A reader emailed to remind me of this video of one of Obama’s fellow Illinois Democrats, Rep. Jan Schakowsky (last seen saying the tea party protests were attended by neo-Nazis and secessionists), telling a crowd that Obama’s plan for a government health care “option” would, in fact, drive the private insurers out of business.
So when Obama says that critics of his nationalized health care plans are lying when they say that his plan will drive private health care choices out of the market, are his political allies lying too when they say the same thing?
