Some Rapper Guy Likes Bush

Some rapper named 50 cent:

“You wanna know something? I actually like George W. Bush. In some ways, I’m the George W. Bush of hip hop – nobody likes me, but I’m still gonna run it for the next four years.”

I don’t know who 50 Cent is, but that quote’s been banging around the blogosphere so he must be pretty famous, I guess.
Of course, I didn’t know who Kanye West was either when he went on his little anti-Bush tirade at some awards show. These guys don’t make it to central North Dakota that often.

    I am now saying less than I know. There are several in the Rap community who are far more conservative and supportive of GWB than anyone will admit.

    50 just said it, that’s all.

    My son who lives in Boston follows the whole rap thing pretty well and tells me this.

    What’s really funny is he’s the Redlin Family’s token liberal.

    It’s not Rap PC to say you like Bush. So they don’t. But, those who know them “behind the mask” are leaking these things out.

    Maybe thats our salvation fellow Conservatives.

    I’m gonna give Eminem a call, Eminem for a continued republican house and senate majority.

We see a soldier coming home from the war, only to find his wife holding out a letter stating “Private Kelly, You Have Been Re-Assigned to Iraq.” When the soldier reads the notice, his eyes shift from shock, to fear, to outrage, as he emphatically mouths “Fuck Bush.” Later, we see a woman opening an eviction notice while her children watch Bush talking about “tax cuts” on television.

    we have a similar “rap-crapper” in ireland. he calls himself “20 pence” (punt and pence was back in the days before the euro, when we had real irish money)
    he speaks a mixture of irish and english and therefore most people dont have a fucking clue whats he’s talking about. you have to play it back in slow-motion and concentrate.
    much like 50 cent !
    he also considers himself to be like 50. he cant speak, cant spell and countless people have tried to shoot him.

    I’ve always thought 50 Cent marked some kind of decline of my generation. I can’t exactly describe the picture one gets from watching a bunch of middle/upper class white boys bouncing around to a song like P.I.M.P., but it’s not a pretty one.

    Makes me run back to my jungle, dnb, and techno clubs and appreciate good music that is danceable without looking like a fool.
