Some Random Thoughts

Back during the mid-term elections, we heard how important it was to have the legislative and executive branches run by different parties.  If by some chance the Democrats win the White House, will they voluntarily give up their majorities in Congress if necessary?  I mean, fair is fair.

Whenever the inevitable kneecaping in the Presidential race begins in earnest on the Democratic side, will the Republicans be smart enough to stay the hell out of the way of that train wreck?

Recently, voices in the media have begun to question global warming a tiny, miniscule amount.  Is this a substantive change or is the media just trying to cover their collective asses in case Al Gore is wrong?

Why is the firing of federal prosecutors such a big deal?  This has gone on for administration after administration and no one seemed to care until now.

Has there ever been a more phony politician than John Edwards?  I know that there have been some doozies, but Edwards sems to take it to a new level.

Why should anyone care who Al Sharpton endorses?  I sure don’t.  He’s just a self-important windbag.
