Some Fun Facts About Che Guevera For All Those Campus/Shopping Mall Socialists

Free market types like myself have been laughing for years at the fools who go around sporting socialist imagery and propaganda on their t-shirts, buttons, backpacks and hats (because nothing says “socialism” like some private company making a buck off of selling the revolution to self-styled radicals), but the truth is that the glorification of socialist icons like Che Guevera isn’t really all that funny. Because the reality is that Che Guevera was a terrorist who plotted to murder tens of thousands of innocents:

Twice, Che plotted terrorist attacks against New York City. In November 1962, the FBI cracked a terrorist plot by Cuban agents who targeted Macy’s, Gimbel’s, Bloomingdale’s and Grand Central Terminal. They planned to blow up those landmarks with 12 incendiary devices and 500 kilos of TNT the day after Thanksgiving. Several months before visiting New York in December 1964 and being feted by the toast of the city’s intelligentsia, Che hatched a plan with the Black Liberation Army to blow up the Statue of Liberty, the Liberty Bell and the Washington Monument. The plotters were infiltrated in 1965 by a sharp-eyed NYPD cadet.

An homophobe and firm proponent of the “establishment” and government authority:

Che detested rock and roll and railed against “long hairs,” “lazy youths,” and homosexuals. At one point, he wrote that the young must always “listen carefully – and with the utmost respect – to the advice of their elders who held governmental authority.”

A racist:

Che sidelined black Cubans and mocked those who were part of the revolutionary movement. He once told radio host Luis Pons, “We’re going to do for blacks exactly what blacks did for the revolution. By which I mean: nothing.”

And a censor, anti-intellectual and cold-blooded murderer:

Che personally ordered 700 executions by firing squad, which he supervised at his jungle headquarters in Cuba. He also hosted book burnings, torching thousands of books owned by suspect intellectuals and librarians.

So the irony surrounding promoting socialist revolutionaries with capitalism aside, the fools sporting Che’s image should be mocked and derided for the supporters of terrorism, totalitarianism, murder and racism they are.
And to think, most of the fools who would we a Che t-shirt are the sort who would accuse President Bush of being a racist/murderer, etc.

    Here’s some fun quotations! In response to Che being racist;

Guevara antagonistically attacked the United States claim of being a “democracy”, stating that such a system was not compatible with “financial oligarchy, discrimination against blacks, and outrages by the Ku Klux Klan.“[83]

Let’s not forget the black bodyguards and comrades he had during the Cuban Revolution. Who would later refer to him as a “Fatherly figure”. Maybe if you read a book on him instead of relying on groundless facts that you found on the internet you would know something.

In fact, Che had a mulatto girlfriend during the revolution.

In response to his homophobia, I don’t see the only quotation you have as very strong evidence.

And of course, Che was an avid reader, suggesting that all revolutionaries carry books with them. He was very intent on raising the literacy levels of Cuba.

You sir, are a biased shit-mouth.

He gets his facts from hearsay that the very capitalist them selfs make up. His thought are composed of doublethink, which is act of simultaneously and fervently holding two mutually contradictory belief. And as for bush just look at the things hes done, hes sent his armies to iraq on crap information, bush has murdered an displaced over a million people, iraq now is worse then it was before, if democracy is the answer then let the people say it, But the people of iraq want the US out of its land, and all this for 3k people that many americans believe was a government conspiracy? why is the us so sacred to reopen the 911 case. many facts important facts are left out of the 911 commission report, in which bush was not under oath or recorded or anything just him someone else an the person who records the information. Theres a reason why so many country’s have backed away from iraq. Che was a revolutionist an an inspiration to the people. he helped rid Cuba of tyrant that was there. Fidel an now Raul Castro have taken great steps an more an more the people are receiving better benefits, u have to look at Cuba an remember that the US still have the blockade restricting Cuba of “free trade”. Cuba is in great conditions compared to many south americans countrys.

Would you care to elaborate a bit on your claims? I read up on Che in Wiikipedia, World Book, and didn’t come across anything like you mentioned.
I followed the link that you posted… which led me to another Blog post… which reference a book… Do you have any more sources?

Also, I’m a little confused… according to you, was Che a racist or not? It seems as though there’s a bit of a disconnect, if you’re claiming he “…hatched a plan with the Black Liberation Army to blow up the Statue of Liberty, the Liberty Bell and the Washington Monument.” but also “…sidelined black Cubans and mocked those who were part of the revolutionary movement.”

Ok just about everything you said is very likely false. let me ask you
something Are you from like some rivary family or something? Che
Guevara was a very remarkable man and maybe he did have something
against homosexuals A lot of people do and I'll admit it to! Also
unless you have websites that have real information instead of a
friends friends website i suggest you leave your nasty little "Facts"
at home or put it on an "Anti-Che" website where you and a bunch of other people
can make up lies. I HATE people like you that comment badly on
something. lets take Justin Bieber for example alot of people bash on
him. If you people don't like him why bash on him? He is a freckin
teenager! I don't think i have ever seen mean or nasty comments about
micheal jackson as a kid he had a high voice to! If Justin Bieber was a
girl and she had a lower than usual voice i bet NOBODY but maybe some
fat lowlife at home, would make fun of her voice!!!!!!! so unless you
have true statements don't expect to have a lot of people
    commenting……… nicely

ummm bush is a murderer and terrorist, who killed far more innocent civilians in Iraq than the few hundred Che did. You don’t know a thing about Che, besides only seeing the negative blips on the radar

    • A Citizen

”And to think, most of the fools who would wear a Che t-shirt are the sort who would accuse President Bush of being a racist/murderer, etc.”

Were you wearing your Che t-shirt when you wrote your comment? Just asking.

    • taxpayer

ummm, Will, are you saying that Che is “OK” because he only killed a “few hundred innocent civilians”?

As for your ridiculous accusations about Bush, you lose all credibility when you accuse someone of murder and terrorism who was authorized by law and the UN to take military action.  I would respect liberals more if they argued that in their opinion the invasion of Iraq was a bad decision based on selective intelligence, and that the occupation was incompetently planned and executed for the first 2 – 3 years.  Throwing out ridiculous accusations just means that no one outside of your own little biosphere of liberals pays any attention to what you say.
