We spent 45 years defeating the Marxists in the old Soviet Union.  Now, 18 years later we are electing a Marxist to lead our country .... nice!!!

I like your blog very much and have respected your wisdom, fairness and decency; but I guess I can take some very small solace in moving from an atheist to an agnostic, is that progress? Anyway The Whistler seems great and I suspect this blog will continue to grow.

No matter the age or state of health, for a military man it is always glorious to tilt at windmills, rescue a fair Dulcinea and be a gallant knight in armor in a glorious cause.

Rob almost had me going. Good April fools joke. I would have been very disappointed since I’ve been reading this blog daily for the past 3 years.

Mike, it was a tough deal, but Whistler was able to sell off part of his Streisand collection in order to pony up the $450,000+ this blog is worth.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.
