So Much For Kerry’s Apology

Who is sorry now?
image
Certainly not John Kerry. Of course, that’s not exactly a surprise to those of us who recognized that his “apology” (where he said that he was sorry we were all too dumb to interpret his comments correctly) wasn’t really an apology at all.
Can Kerry be this dumb? Does he honestly think that trying to defend his comments by convincing Americans that our soldiers really are dumber than average is a good political strategy at this point?
If Kerry keeps this up he may very well be the first candidate to ever lose an election without his name even being on the ballot.

Clearly he meant what he said at the start, and then lied about misspeaking, and is now essentially admitting that he meant what he said.

Not only is he a classic example of the intellectually bankruptcy of the left, he is just a complete retard. Is this really the best the left could find to run against Bush in 2004???

Kerry is as intellectually gawky and ungainly as he is fundamentally dishonest and unprincipled. And as of today, he has effectively removed himself from any further serious consideration for the 2008 Democrat presidential nomination.

Not that it really much mattered, but Hillary has one less obstacle to be concerned with now.

In the fantasy fog land of liberal thought, where the meaning and application of the word “IS” can be brought into question during a grand jury investigation,(and be accepted by blockheads as a credible defense) a non-apology can really be an apology–or not–or can be–or not—depending on the immediate (or previous) or future situational circumstances.

See, it’s wide open–anything can mean nothing or everything at anytime……this way, no one can ever be held accountable at all

When considering the truth of a proposition, one is either engaged in an honest appraisal of the evidence and logical arguments, or one isn’t.

Maybe–yes–no–sometimes—it depends on perception–oh but–my truth is my truth and your truth is your truth–who’s to say who’s right or wrong?– two diametrically opposed and contradictory statements can be true at the same time–because er…. and nothing that’s been written is factual because it reflects the bias of the writer…yadda yadda yadda…….ad infinitum ad nauseam.

Another statistic I’ve seen is that the only underrepresented group is urban poor.

So much for a carefully sourced news article from the Seattle PI. This is a great demonstration in how pathetic the MSM truly is.

Kerry is an out-of-touch narcissist. His supporters are slackers and opportunists.

Has anybody on this blog commented on the Heritage Foundation study yet comparing Army recruits to their peers?

    Carrick:

    Buttressing a Beleaguered Kerry
“The Heritage Foundation’s statistics show that 99.9% of the military have at least a high school education, nearly half of the officers have advanced or professional degrees and over one third of all military have a master’s degree.”

Once again, Kerry’s babysitting media has to scramble to give us a hundred contortions of “what he meant to say.”

No sooner had Kerry’s camp emerged with a convoluted explanation of his remarks being a “botched joke” at the expense of the president (whose name was never mentioned in Kerry’s offending remarks) than the Old Media elites picked up those talking points and ran with them.

I need no study to tell me that the US military Enlisted Soldier is superior to 99.9% of the population. It is a fact I have known all my life.

As for JFKerry, I agree with realitydenyingboob(waiting for that lightning bolt) and the other leftards, time to stop paying attention to him. And the rest of the DNC, for that matter.

What is the definition of “botched joke”?
A supposed member of the “Brotherhood of War” who in reality is the epitome of treachery.

I looked up “botched joke” in the dictionary. Here’s what I found:

One point none of these studies touch upon. Which demographic has the highest percentage in Combat Arms MOSs? Exactly which groups volunteer to be up the sharp end, where the fire flies both directions? And why is no one making that particular point. The leftards are going to lose their minds over this. It ought to be fun!

Has anybody on this blog commented on the Heritage Foundation study yet comparing Army recruits to their peers? That makes complete mincemeat of the Seattle PI article (which frankly is nothing more than an opinion piece wrapped in the guise of news).

    “Can Kerry be this dumb?”

    DUH!

  • 2Hotel9

They are lawyers, by definition, a bunch of stupid asses who can not hold real, productive jobs.

Oh, sorry! Wifey just pointed out to me that it is still socially unacceptable to point out the glaringly obvious.

Doh, sorry Bezu. Hadn’t checked the reader blogs yet today.

  • http://sayanythingblog.com robport

A while back I posted a study of military recruitment. I can’t find it now, but it showed that the average military troop was slightly more educated, in years of education, than the average American.

But overall, the military is actually a pretty representative cross-section of America as a whole. Meaning that all demographics are pretty evenly represented.

Except in one area. Rural citizens were much more likely to serve in the military than urban citizens. But outside of that (which lines up with what you posted, Carrick), everything else was about even.

  • http://sayanythingblog.com robport

Carrick, I haven’t seen anyone comment on that study yet.

Boob, if you don’t like my choice in topics start up your own reader blog.

What’s the matter? Afraid your B.S. won’t stand up to scrutiny?

    I’m not surprised.
