Site Taken Down

The website called America's Dumbest Soldiers, which I recently posted about, has been taken down as of today. This is good news as the site was hateful, mean-spirited and made light of the many sacrifices our soldiers make for the sake of this country.

I believe the website was taken down thanks to websites like this one and The Indepundit who noticed the site's existence and posted about it, though the fact that the webmaster's name, telephone number and home address became public knowledge soon after the site's discovery probably had something to do with it as well.

Well, now, HERE’s something we can agree on!  Good riddence!

Glad to hear it.

I had never heard of that site, but I’m happy that it’s gone. There was another site that depicted people as terrorists, one of those sites into which you plug in someone’s name. For example, http://john.doe.isaterrorist.com/. I thought that site was also hateful and defamatory. Thankfully, the domain name expired (about two years ago!) and got turned into a search engine. I was not the least bit sad to see it go.
