Signs Portraying Obama As Hitler Appear At Leftist Protests, Media Ignores It
Back in 2009 signs depicting President Obama as Hitler were spotted at tea parties around the nation, and the mainstream media was quick to seize on them as evidence of how racist and extremist the movement is. Images of the signs were played endlessly on networks like NBC, CNN, MSNBC, etc.
But it turned out that it wasn’t tea parties who had the signs. It was disciples of Lyndon LaRouche, a seven-time candidate for the Democrat nomination for President. But that didn’t stop leftists from continuing to use the signs as a talking point against the tea party.
Well, over the weekend the very same Obama-as-Hitler signs showed up at anti-capitalism protests in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
It was the same LaRoucher’ers who had the sign (you can see the URL for a LaRouch website at the bottom of the signs), but will the media react the same way? Will these protesters be branded as extremists because of the presence of these signs in the same way the tea party protesters were?
I wouldn’t hold my breath.
