US President Barack Obama’s offer to talk to Iran shows that America’s policy of “domination” has failed, the government spokesman said on Saturday.
“This request means Western ideology has become passive, that capitalist thought and the system of domination have failed,” Gholam Hossein Elham was quoted as saying by the Mehr news agency.
“Negotiation is secondary, the main issue is that there is no way but for (the United States) to change,” he added.
And so the naive notions about the world falling down at Obama’s feet crash upon the hard, jagged rocks of reality. The left told us over the last eight years that some in the world hate us because our President was a smarmy cowboy who enjoyed hurting their feelings. It turns out that they just hate us, because America as a world power is an awfully inconvenient impediment to their plots for power, riches and domination.
