Shiite Leaders Attend Christian Services In Iraq

A rather stunning show of unity in Iraq.
With every story like this that comes out, the cynics among out political leaders who began opposing the war as soon as it became politically opportune to do so look a bit more, well, cynical. And foolish.

I have been limited to news from ABC and CBS, and not a word of anything positive from Iraq. Not. One. Word.

Amazing, people are being lied to by these vain, arrogant scumbags. And the condescension is absolutely palpable. No wonder people despise journalists at ever increasing rates, and newspaper circulation numbers are plunging.

There were stories about Bethlehem and Nazareth worship services, all negative. And the unending cacophany of defeatism is making me nauseous. The tight focus on any bad news and any case of troops away from home and families seperated is also pissing me off. No mention of the tiny fact that our military is all volunteer, either.

The fact that Muslim community leaders are making the effort to end violence in the face of continued terrorism is totally downplayed, and the steady movement towards national unity are absolutely ignored in favor of the Democrt Party defeatist mantra.

Many of them forget, America MAY rise or fall, as she herself chooses – but Israel is in the hands of God, her destiny is WRITTEN and so far, it isn’t missing a beat or a bauble as it moves steadily through her Bible prophecies, taking all who deal with her along inevitably for the ride.
Their destiny depends solely on one thing – “Did they treat Israel with the respect due to The Apple of God’s Eye” – or were they so arrogant, that even as they themselves pore over those prophecies, they vainly imagine to themselves they can deliberately and irrationally fulfill the prophecies by lining up against her, and simultaneously escape the end result of it, written thousands of years ago.

Obadiah (there is only one very chapter); Isaiah 18; Ezekial 38 and 39.

Blessed be the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And may there be SHALOM peace in Jerusalem.
May the daughter-in-law respect her husband’s mother. Isaiah 54; Romans 9-11.

Several people have done some excellent documentary films on the issues of 1948 – and one, facing primarily the technical accomplishments, is by Peter and Paul LaLonde.
Years ago, this was frequently shown on Christian TV networks. I believe it is still available in VHS, and probably DVD, and is an excellent bit of food for thought, for Christians who have bought the slanderous bill of goods of “replacement theology” regarding Israel and “the Church”, and other issues regarding God’s plans for Israel.

Israel is in the ULTIMATE Good Hands, and He will not drop her or forsake her.

Ombre Rose. Glad to see another logical thinker here. Michelle had a picture of three clergymen climbing atop a christian dome replacing the cross that Sadam tried to destroy. At least in Iraq, diversity (that liberal term) seems to be actually in use, but you will not hear that from MSNBC or the “old 3″.

Yes, well, our opposition leaders of the Liberal stripe have always looked foolish, and very Socialist, and most of all, as if they are goose-stepping in lockstep to the Stalinist Agenda created in the 1940′s or 50′s, for the Destruction of America from the inside out.

So lockstep, that no matter how blatant their attempts to undermine America have become, they try to bluster through and pretend they can sell their propaganda and their unAmerican activities as simple “alternative” thinking.

Well, for them, “alternative” is merely another word for Socialist micromanagerial powermongering dictators, who in their bitter jealousy and envy, would rather rule over a garbage heap of destroyed ruins than help provide leadership for a real democratic republic that is a successful, thriving, healthy opportunity for all.

“Here in America we are descended in blood and in spirit from revolutionists and rebels — men and women who dare to dissent from accepted doctrine. As their heirs, we may never confuse honest dissent with disloyal subversion.”–Dwight Eisenhower
