Seymour Hersh Would Like To See Our Troops Spit On Again

Ok, he didn’t really say that, but he may as well have.

If Americans knew the full extent of U.S. criminal conduct, they would receive returning Iraqi veterans as they did Vietnam veterans, Hersh said.

“In Vietnam, our soldiers came back and they were reviled as baby killers, in shame and humiliation,” he said. “It isn’t happening now, but I will tell you – there has never been an [American] army as violent and murderous as our army has been in Iraq.”

Just another of America’s wonderful, patriotic, objective journalists.

Seriously.  This guy won a Pulitzer.

The left is just having a wonderfully patriotic week, aren’t they?  First John Kerry implies that the military is what happens to college and high school students who can’t pass their classes, then Hersh accuses them of “murderous” war crimes.

Interesting when the mask comes off, isn’t it?

Do what I did; send a note to his employer, the New Yorker, with documentation of his probable slander of our troops.  Hugh Hewitt collected it a few days back.  No publisher wants to be on the receiving end of a well earned libel or slander lawsuit.
