Senator Russ Feingold: A Government Health Care Plan Will Lead To Nationalized Health Care

Recently Obama and his administration have been working hard to convince Americans that his “government option” health care plans won’t result in nationalized health care. Obama himself actually said that those suggesting otherwise were lying. Yet many liberals are under the impression that government health care plans will lead to government health care. Among them Rep. Jan Schakowsky, and now Senator Russ Feingold:

I believe the goal here is to create whatever legislation we have in a way that could be developed into something like a single-payer system.

So, who is the liar now Obama? Your critics and your fellow liberals, or you?
Make no doubt about it, the goal of Obama’s “government option” is to run private insurers and care providers out of the market so that all Americans become dependent on government health care. Obama and his fellow liberals know that Americans aren’t gonna go for a leap straight toward government health care. They know they first need to herd enough Americans on to government health care so that eventually there’s a tipping point at which time they can nationalize the whole system.
But it won’t work until they can create that dependency first.
Obama’s “government option” plan isn’t policy. It’s manipulation.
