Is it any coincidence that global temperature has increased at a rate that coincides with fossil fuel emissions?

The Earth has gone through stages of warming, but never at as rapid a pace as it is now and even taking account for the volcano eruptions and other natural effects the Earth is warming at an increased pace which coincides with increased fossil fuel emmisions.  But just call it “liberal bias” and you’ll feel better about yourself.
