Say Anything Makes Wikio’s Top 100 Political Blogs

We come in at 56, which is pretty cool given who else made the top 100.

A reader emailed it to me this evening, and I couldn’t help bragging a little bit.  I don’t take credit for the amount of readership Say Anything has obtained.  I think a lot of the credit goes to the other people who blog here, both on the front page and on the reader blogs, as well as everyone who contributes to the comments section.

Outstanding. Congrats, Rob. But when we make the top ten I’ll be happy.

By the way, what does the green arrow mean?

Election ‘08 - We Are So Screwed

Congratulations! Wow! LGF only came in at 93! You are the big time now, dog!

Those who think the party or the country, will be “taught a lesson” by handing the levers of power over to the liberals will learn a lesson, but it will be at the expense of our country and her liberties. And there are no guarantees that the party or the country will come out stronger, more conservative or better positioned to win elections against the incumbent liberals.

YAY!!!… Way to go, Rob!

what does the green arrow mean?

Either the Justice League is on its way, or Say Anything is moving up!

I blame Clinton

I suppose my coming in at #1986 isn’t too bad considering how many millions of blogs are out there.

That’s not bad at all, Bruce.  Most of the blogs probably aren’t even ranked.  I tried to compare to some of the local North Dakota blogs and I couldn’t even find them in the listings.

The war against illegal plunder has been fought since the beginning of the world. But how is… legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime. Then abolish this law without delay … If such a law is not abolished immediately it will spread, multiply and develop into a system.

Congrats, Rob and posters, but it’s hard for me to believe that LGF is only 93 and Hot Air didn’t make the list.  On what basis was the list made?

Being liberal is never having to admit you’re wrong

NOW can I hire an agent!!??  smile

Congrads, Rob!  You are kind to include us in your achievement, but we know it’s you who makes it go!

I am especially proud that you stand behind your committment to let us all SAY ANYTHING!

Like I said, you’re a schmuck.. but a REALLY GOOD schmuck!

I would also like to know what basis they use to determine the rankings.

But having said that: good job Rob.  Just getting noticed on the internet is dificult enough.

DocDave asked:

On what basis was the list made?

The answer is at the the bottom of the Wikio list Rob linked:

How are these rankings compiled?
The position of a blog in the Wikio ranking depends on the number and weight of the incoming links from other blogs. These links are dynamic, which means that they are backlinks or links found within articles.

Blogrolls are not taken into account and Wikio only counts links from the last 120 days. We thus hope to provide a classification more representative of trends in the blogosphere.

Moreover, the weight of a link depends on the linking blog’s position in the Wikio ranking. With our algorithm, the weight of a link from a top blog is greater than that of a link from a blog that is less well ranked.

Our rankings also include Top Blogs for several categories: Technology, Politics, etc. New categories will be added on a regular basis.

If I’m reading that right it means that more of the heavy hitters link SA than some others. Cool.

Congrats Rob!!!  Way to go.

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.
