Say Anything Makes Map Of 297 Most Influential Political Websites

PresidentialWatch08 has analyzed the way political websites link to one another and came up with what they feel are the 297 most influential political websites on the internet and then, for some goofy reason, decided to plot them all on a map.  Here’s an explanation for the methodology used.

Included are obvious choices for “influential website” like Reuters, The Drudge Report, The LA Times and Daily Kos.  Also included, I’d humbly point out, is Say Anything.

I’m not really sure where in that top 297 we rank, but given that this site has also been featured at 52 in Wikio’s top 100 most influential political blogs listing, I’d guess we’re somewhere in the middle of the pack.

Which, given the other websites ranked, is flattering to be sure.

This blog can be found in the top right (appropriately enough) part of the map.

I couldn’t tell if that “authority degree” was a ranking out of the 297 or just some other metric.

Anyway, it’s fun just to be included.

Congratulations, Rob! If I may quote Samuel Morse to an atheist:

What hath God wrought?

From small beginnings to greater ends!

The funny thing, when I looked on the map, based on lik’s “upper right” comment, Say Anything was the very first dot I highlighted. Kismet, my friend. Kismet.

Congrats! Once again, I’m proud to be part of it.

By the way, I went over and looked at the map. Boy, someone put some serious work into that thing. I’m impressed.

I went to the site and looked around some and it is pretty interesting. It reminds me of the voting we did a while back on some web awards. Are those coming again? Anyway, Good work Rob, Thanks for representing North Dakota!

It won’t stay there as long as you allow people like me and rbb to post and comment here! You must throw out the trash if you want to continue succeeding!

No matter the age or state of health, for a military man it is always glorious to tilt at windmills, rescue a fair Dulcinea and be a gallant knight in armor in a glorious cause.
