Iowahawk has a very funny column on taking Obama’s tire pressure advice and saving even more gas!

Now, with an estimated 500,000 Priuses menacing our roadways — each consuming 300 gallons of Earth-raping gasoline per year…

He then gives step by step instructions on removing the valve core stems on

“…Priuses, starting with the one with the thickest layer of bumper stickers.”

Until each tire has reached the “correct” pressure of 0 p.s.i.

Just think — if we all remain vigilant and do our part, we can save America up to 150,000,000 gallons of gasoline per year! Not to mention reduced slow-moving retard congestion in America’s HOV lanes.

The only why america can save 150,000,000 gallons of gasoline per year is if every single car will be converted to water fuel . Wich i think is highly unlikly.

At a backyard bbq a few weeks ago, a friend of mine told a story about how he saw a Prius on the side of the road, hazard lights a-flashin’, and, in a delicious note of irony, a gas station about 100 yards away, and a man carrying a gas can walking back toward the disabled car.

I’m all for reducing consumption (I’ve taken to driving 65 instead of 75, bumping my Montero’s mileage from 14 to 19 when I’m towing my boat), but I’m as tired as one can be of the self-righteousness of the environ-mental-ist crowd.
