Sarah Palin Isn’t Giving Any Media Interviews?

Many are claiming that Sarah Palin is being kept away from the media, and the left is naturally jumping on that rumor as proof that Palin isn’t ready for prime time campaigning let alone for the White House.

But, as with most rumors about Sarah Palin these days, this one is false.  Ed Morrissey got a copy of Palin’s schedule today and it turns out that she’ll be in front of reporters no fewer than three times in nine hours.

Saturday, September 6, 2008
Colorado and New Mexico

10:00am Media Interview
10:30am Satellite into AARP Convention
11:30am Media Interview
12:30pm MT “The Road to Victory Rally”
Colorado Springs, CO
1:45pm MT Depart Colorado
2:50pm MT Arrive NM
3:30pm MT Media Interviews
7:00pm MT “The Road to Victory Rally”
Albuquerque Convention Center

So much for that smear.

On to the next one.

And that ringing silence after her radio address? Guess no one in the media heard about that, either.

But is Mayor Palin giving interviews to the Media who count?  Or is she unfairly giving the Media who count time to discover that the many smears against her are groundless, thus saving them the embarrassment of asking really stupid questions?  Whatever the former PTA member does, whatever she’s thinking, be sure it is wrong, wrong, wrong.

Next smear rumor, please.

For someone who isn’t giving media interviews there seem to be a lot of media inteviews on her schedule.

They are pants-wetting scared of Sarah Palin.

This quote from Jonathon Swift fits Palin and the idiots who want to destroy her before they know her perfectly:

When a true genius appears in this world, you may know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in confederacy against him.

Heh. Perfect.

I think the potential for Palin’s genius remains to be seen, but clearly the confederacy of dunces has already formed ranks.

Former Reverend Wright admirer Obama didn’t give interviews to Fox for a long time because Former teacher Obama was afraid of anything other than softballs.  Former “community organizer” Obama wasn’t ready for prime-time for a long time, Sarah Palin has been kinda busy with the whole convention thing lately, she will have plenty of time for media from now on…

I love the way the Jackals, the deceitful jackels nip at Sarah Palin’s heels; because, I do believe they are hurting their own cause: not Palin’s

No Interviews Till She’s Ready
05 Sep 2008 01:55 pm
John McCain and Sarah Palin are appearing together in these places.  I watched them live on CNN today at their appearance in Colorado.  Below is the official word from the campaign.

“A senior McCain campaign official advises that, despite the gaggle of requests and pressure from the media, Gov. Sarah Palin won’t submit to a formal interview anytime soon. She may take some questions from local news entities in Alaska, but until she’s ready—and until she’s comfortable—which might not be for a long while—the media will have to wait. The campaign believes it can effectively deal with the media’s complaints, and their on-the-record response to all this will be: “Sarah Palin needs to spend time with the voters.”

Obama was always going to do an interview with Bill O’Reilly because he told O’Reilly he would (at the NH rally). If he were afraid as you suggest, he would have pulled a Gore/Kerry and not have done it. The Obama camp was just waiting to do the interview until the right time when they could capitalize on the timing. By doing it last Thursday, Obama got prime time coverage the same night as McCain’s speech. Even O’Reilly said it the timing was a smart thing for the Obama camp to do.

Don’t forget that Obama has already done 2 previous FOX interviews with Wallace and Hemmer.

So much for that smear.

On to the next one.

The Cheese Stands Alone:

Sept. 7 (Bloomberg)—Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin isn’t giving interviews to the news media and won’t until ``the campaign is ready,’’ campaign manager Rick Davis said today.

Palin will answer questions from reporters ``when we think it’s time and when she feels comfortable doing it,’’ Davis told ``Fox News Sunday.’’

Excuse me, you were saying?

Hey look, I just got Palin’s schedule for tomorrow.

Monday, September 8, 2008
The Moon, Texas and Russia

10:00am Flying to the Moon
10:30am Hitting some balls at the Lunar Driving Range
11:30am Lunch with Jesus
Texas
12:30pm Interview with the Devil
1:45pm MT Depart Texas
2:50pm MT Arrive Russia (yeah, in only an hour)
3:30pm MT Interview with SayAnythingBlog
7:00pm MT Bowling with Chris Farley

Anyone can make a schedule and post it on a blog with the words Media Interview plugged into it. It doesn’t mean Palin is doing anything.

That anyone buys into her is so laughable. I pity those of you who do. Never mind the secrecy, the investigation, that she has so many strikes against her that had she been vetted no sane candidate would have given picked her…

She’s fought corruption? She has participated in unethical and corrupt activities, including taking earmarks for the bridge to nowhere.

She’s misused her power, showing her vindictive nature and lack of judgment.

She has participated in an organization for secession from the U.S.

She is racist.

Though I am willing to buy the knocked-up daughter thing as a family ordeal, I hardly think a hardcore Republican Bible-beater gets a pass for it.

She has squashed a librarian with her misuse of power because the woman wouldn’t ban and burn particular books.

and on and on and on…

Just do some research people, especially you women who are only thinking with your vaginas…

laughable, pathetic and ridiculous.

The more they vilify Sarah the greater the proof of her impact on
the political scene. What she may not know she can learn in a hurry that’s the nature of Sarah Palin, a quick study. Sure she has some warts but who hasn’t, Obama?, Biden?, give me a break.

On balance I’ll take a straight talking strait shooting lady over
the wonderful rhetoric of an excellent orator. Talk is cheap, it’s an old and trite cliche, but Oh so true. With the entire media against her she has still put the ticked McCain/Palin ahead
of Obama and his blowhard VP. Oprah will rue the day she started playing politics, it’s something you just don’t do when you rely on the public for your celebrity. Your audience is not all Democrats but it soon will be at the rate your going.
