Good morning, boys and girls.

Today we’ll learn that some people, when faced with the reality that not everyone sees things the way they do, will do anything they can to demonize their opponents, right down to twisting even the most basic facts into hate filled pro-abortion propaganda and throwing the finest childish tantrums under the guise of righteous outrage.

Take for instance a San Francisco based pro-abortion group called Credo Mobile which has decided that the Democrats who voted for the Sustak amendment to the massive health care bill that just passed the House are just plain evil.

So…they’ve put out a petition to send all of those mean old Democrats coat hangers because, you see, that’s where they tell us we’ll go back to if the taxpayers don’t pay for abortions:

Sign this petition and send a coat hanger to the 20 formerly pro-choice Democrats—all men—who voted to pass the Stupak Amendment.

“We know what happens when women are denied access to reproductive health care including abortion. And we can’t go back to an era of coat hangers and back alley abortions. Reconsider your vote on the Stupak Amendment. Tell House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid that the final health care bill that emerges from the conference committee can’t turn the clock back on women’s rights.”

Take note of the above quote, kids, and learn well from it. You see, it doesn’t matter that the amendment doesn’t say anything about taking “women’s rights” away. Women will still have the right to abortion (can you say “Roe v. Wade?” Good. I knew you could.) Those mean old Democrats, (and all of them scary, scary men, too) like most other people in America, just don’t think our tax dollars should be used for the voluntary termination of a baby.

Women will still have the right to a safe, sterile abortion in a certified clinic. Coat hangers will not be necessary, so don’t be scared boys and girls.

Damn (oops - sorry kids) those Democrats for standing on principle instead of hiding under the blanket of political correctness. The folks at Credo Mobile have decided to teach them a lesson, and will send them coat hangers. Scary. That will sure show them a thing or two, won’t it, kids? And if that doesn’t work they’ll stomp their feet and hold their breath until they turn blue.
