For the last two weeks I've had a poll up asking this question:

Should Saddam Hussein be put to death?

The overwhelming majority of voters, 174 or 70%, voted yes saying that Hussein should be executed. Less than half of that number, 61 or 25%, voted no. There were 12 undecided votes.

Personally, my vote on this subject is no. I don't think Saddam Hussein should be put to death, but not for the reasons you may think. The one and only reason for keeping Saddam alive is for the information he holds in his head. The man has been a terrorism institution in the middle-east for decades. There may not be anyone else in the world who knows more about the subversive activities in that region then Saddam Hussein. I know he's not talking to us now, but he will. Its obvious he has a vested interest in staying alive and living comfortably, so he'll talk eventually.

I'd just hate to see us waste a valuable source of information. That reasoning aside, however, I say fry him.
