SAB’ers Talk Radio 08/28/2006

Brett Narloch from TakingBackND.com and I will be doing another live show this evening at 8:00pm central time. I've decided to call the show SAB'ers Talk Radio, mostly because the podcast needs a name and I think that one is snappier than the "Say Anything Podcast."

For tonight's show it sounds like we'll be having ND Ag Commissioner candidate Doug Goehring on to talk about agriculture disaster aid, ethanol and his recent claims that his opponent, current ND Ag Commissioner Roger Johnson, has been push polling North Dakotans. There is a chance that Doug won't be on with us (he's attending a fundraiser tonight and I asked him sort of last minute), but if he isn't on we'll likely be covering these same issues anyway.

I need to start listening to talk radio [either actually on the radio, or on the web, or on iTunes - I’ve never done that yet] again…

I think it might turn out to be theraputic.

2H9, we’re not on yet.

It starts at 8:00pm central time.  I put the post up early so everyone would see it.

Aakash, tune in.  This is sort of a new project for Brett and I so we’re rank amateurs, but it has been fun so far and we aim to keep doing it and get better at it.

No problem, just glad to know some people will be tuning in.

We had a few yesterday, but wanted to give plenty of head’s up today so more could tune in.

Aakash, now that I am hip to the live cast deal I can be of assistance to you. Though it will be a tad expensive. First, you must get yourself to a RadioShack, then you must pray to the electronic gadget gods that they still have a Grundig YB 300PE in stock(this being my personal favorite). Then you are all set to become informed via radiowave transmission while also enjoying the fruits of the internet. I am doing so right now, BBC International News Hour. This is an excellent unit, though there are others, and you can recieve AM,FM, and ShortWave from all over the world, even in IL. And the greatest part is you can take it anywhere. I have sent a pile of these to troops in An and Iq, and they always perform up to specs. Hope that helps.

I tried to get on at about 8:30.  The Listen to Show live line was “blurred out” and I couldn’t listen.

Maybe you were so popular you couldn’t get in.

Don’t worry I’ll listen to it on the replay.  sounds like a good topic.

Very good! I think it went swimmingly. You put your questions to the Ag Comish candidate quite well, and it was nice to hear voices of people I read. You NoDaks talk funny, like you are yankies or some such. Just kidding! All in all, very well done.
