SAB’ers Fantasty Football League

I don't know how many of you Say Anything readers are football fans, or how many enjoy playing fantasy games, but I thought I'd try this out anyway.

I've set up a fantasy football league on Yahoo with fifteen open spots. It's a points league, and it will have an auto draft as opposed to a live draft (it's almost impossible to get everyone together on one date for the live draft.

If you're interested in participating drop me an email and I'll send you the sign-in information. You will have to have a Yahoo account to play, but that's free. It's first-come, first-serve. First fifteen people who email get in.

There will be prizes, by the way. First place is a $25 gift certificate for Amazon.com. Second place is a $10 gift certificate for the same. I'm not sure what we'll do if I win. And I probably will, because I'm just that good.

One note: If you sign up please make sure you're going to be able to play the whole season. There's nothing lamer than drafting all the players and then learning that one team is going to be nothing but dead weight all season.

Update:

Upon further reflection, I'm switching to a head to head format for the league. I'm used to playing fantasy baseball where I like the points set up, but head to head works better for football.

This means that we now have an even 16 spots open.
