Rush Limbaugh Mentions Say Anything On The Air

That’s right.  Rush mentions this blog (this reader blog post specifically) on the air today.  Here’s the audio:

I’ve gotten a couple of links from Rush Limbaugh’s website in the past, but this is the first time he’s actually mentioned the blog on the air.

So I can’t help but brag.  I think the mention was especially cool because it was a reader blog post that got the attention.  Just goes to show that our little blogging community here is getting plenty of attention.

Wow, mentions by Neal Boortz and Rush Limbaugh. Bill O’Reilly and Hannity and Colmes can’t be far behind.

It was Rodney’s post that got the mention, but I’m just happy the blog was mentioned in general.

My phone’s been going nuts with calls/text messages from people who heard it.  And right after the mention the blog went down a bit to a traffic surge.

Cool stuff.

Mentions on the most listened to show in the history of radio can do that!

Many different opinions are shared here.  Unlike on the ‘kos-type’ blogs that consist of about 50% profanity and bad language.  Seems their level of intelligence stopped around the 5th grade after they learned interjections.

Hey Rob, very exciting!

One thing I love about this blog is its integrity…people can really say just about anything here.  It’s a very honest place to be.  Thanks for providing this for all us opinionated people.

Heh.

One of the most important talents for success in politics is the ability to make utter nonsense sound not only plausible but inspiring. Barack Obama has that talent. We will be lucky if we escape the catastrophes into which other countries have been led by leaders with that same charismatic talent.

Wow, congratulations! If this keeps up you’ll probably have the theme to the Jefferson’s tv show play for our listening pleasure everytime we check in—“Moving on up…..”

Congrats and well deserved.

I think the coolest thing to me is that he didn’t need to clarify what it was! That speaks of a certain level of familiarity. Cool stuff.

Good job!! I was running a pressure washer today and missed it. I have sent links to posts from here to Rush, Glenn Beck, and Jim Quinn in the past, Beck made a mention, though as usual, he flubbed the name! ADD Boy strikes again. I am pretty sure that Quinn lurks here, he is not big on getting into the mix online.

Good job Rodney! And thank you oh, so much Rob.

Brad,

Thank you for taking the time to read!  Why not sign up for a Reader’s Blog account of your own?  Its free.

It rarely gets this personal or this animated (a generous bit of understatement!), and most of us know to keep our opinions and disagreements a safe distance from more personal matters.  And most of us are more civil and gracious than what you’ve seen here today.  But things can get complicated and contentious at times.  Why not join in?
